Important Notice - Please Inspect Your Delivery

Before signing for your delivery, kindly inspect all items to ensure they are in optimal condition. This step is crucial to guarantee the integrity of your order. If any damage is noticed upon delivery, please make a note of it on the delivery receipt. Failure to inspect and report damages at the time of delivery may void your eligibility for a refund or replacement. Our commitment is to deliver excellence, and your cooperation in this matter ensures a smooth resolution process if any issues arise.

Important Notice

The Bathshed office and warehouse will be closing for the holidays on Wednesday the 20th of December and will reopen again on Friday the 5th of January. Any orders & enquires during this period will not be processed until we are back in the office. SHIPPING POLICY

We aim to dispatch your order within 5 working days. From time to time products may be out of stock and it may be impossible to dispatch within 5 days, if this is the case we will inform you by email and give you the option to wait on the arrival of new stock, or we will offer you an alternative item. If you require a certain item to be dispatched sooner, please contact us as in many cases items can be dispatched sooner.

Once your order has left our warehouse you will receive an e-mail to tell you that your order has been dispatched and give you an estimated delivery time.

Upon dispatch, orders should be received the next working day for Northern Ireland and Rep of Ireland, and 3-5 working days for UK deliveries. Please note some deliveries may take longer in the UK, you should allow up to 7 working days for certain deliveries.

It is important that we have a contact number for the delivery recipient as in most cases our couriers will contact the recipient before delivery to agree an acceptable delivery time and or to obtain directions.

Upon delivery of products a recipient should be present in order to sign for goods and to also check products to ensure that they have not been damaged during transit and that the correct goods were dispatched.

Important Information Regarding UK Pallet Deliveries – As Bathshed is based in Ireland, For UK deliveries we use a courier service. Prior to each delivery, we request a courtesy call to the customer beforehand, it is the responsibility of the driver to contact you with a delivery time as we do not have the courier’s time schedule. With regards to delivery itself, all freight couriers will only deliver to the curb or door step as their insurance policies don’t cover them for lifting materials into a private property. They also deliver pallets exactly as they leave our premises for insurance purposes. For example, if a driver opened and moved the items from the pallet for a customer, and some of the items were damaged, they would not be covered under the RHA policy which freight companies are insured under. This is why our deliveries must be signed for after checking for damages. Drivers may sometimes take it upon themselves to help a customer with their items, but this is not standard practice.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Delivery charges can be easily calculated by adding the required items to your shopping cart and entering your address.

Please be sure to enter Country, County and Postcode. If you do not have a Postcode where you live, please enter “0000” in the postcode field, and your delivery will be calculated.

Please Note: For delivery to the Scottish Isles, Isle of Man & Channel Islands, prices must be requested from a member of our sales team.

CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER

Once an order has been placed a shipment cannot be cancelled. You may however return the unopened item back, after delivery. The price of the product will be refunded back to you as soon as the product has reached our depot and has been checked to ensure that it has not been used or damaged in transit. You will be responsible for the product until it reaches our depot so it is advised you use tracked delivery.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the product that has been delivered to you, you have the option to return the product to us within 14 days in order for you to receive a refund. In this event the customer is liable for all returns charges.

After this time you will be responsible for the safe postage of products and will be charged a restocking fee.

When returning items to the depot please ensure that they are carefully packaged, in their original packaging. Boxes should be unopened, unless they are faulty, and free from any writing. Failure to do so could affect your refund.

You will receive the refund into your account as soon as we have checked the products to ensure that they are suitable for resale and not faulty.

*PLEASE NOTE* – Any returns from England, Scotland or Wales, the customer must arrange the return of the products in order to receive a credit.

Damaged goods

All items must be inspected upon delivery, we urge our customers not to accept items which have been damaged in transit by the courier company. All damaged items must be reported within 24 hours to ensure that we are able to lodge a claim and either refund in full/replace item which has been damaged. Failure to do so will void any compensation as items have been accepted in working condition.

Faulty goods

When receiving goods it is the recipient’s responsibility to thoroughly check goods for any damage. If an item or the packaging has been tampered with during transit please note this on the delivery docket and contact Bathshed via e-mail within 24 hours.

Once a product has been used and is faulty you must contact Bath Shed to organise a refund or replacement product. Once an item has been returned to our depot we will check the product to see where the fault lies and provide you with a refund (minus delivery costs) if necessary. Please note faulty goods cannot be returned after 30 days on receipt of goods.

(Faulty goods are items which have a manufacturers defect, this does not include damaged items.)

Wrong Items delivered

Once products are delivered they must be checked thoroughly, if it comes to light the wrong item has been delivered to you contact Bath Shed within 24 hours in order to arrange delivery of the correct items. In this instance, Bath shed will take responsibility of the postage costs of the items to be returned, but it is the recipient’s responsibility that the products are packaged safely to stop products from being damaged in transit.

Directions for receiving your order

If pallet is visually damaged please do not accept delivery. We advise that 2 people un-wrap the pallet. Please use caution when unwrapping the pallet, as items may have become unsteady during transit. All outer wrapping must be removed & all contents must be checked prior to signing & accepting delivery. In the unlikely event of damages please contact bath shed immediately Bathshed will not accept responsibility if the pod – proof of delivery is signed without stating damaged items. **Please note** – All sizes on our website are listed as accurate as possible however they can vary slightly. Please allow a variant of approx 10-20mm on certain products. If you are concerned about the size, please contact our sales team before you make the purchase to ensure the size is correct
